What is Nonfiction? Nonfiction is writing that deals with real events and people. Characters, settings, and events must conform to what is true.
There are lots of differences between fiction and nonfiction text and text features.
Nonfiction text can be about animals, time periods, daily events, and many more things. This information can be found in textbooks or regular non-fiction books and even newspapers.
Nonfiction can also be in some magazines. Here's some examples of nonfiction text.
I'm gonna hit you with the facts. Nonfiction involves LOTS facts!
Nonfiction also involves pictures of historical or important events.
