TABLE MOUNTAIN & CAPE TOWN CITY TOUR | OCT 14

This morning, we encounter Table Mountain first-hand, ascending via aerial cableway to its vast flat top - a rocky wonderland of rich Cape fynbos and curious dassies (hyraxes). Peer over the bustling City Bowl and Atlantic Seaboard keeping a keen eye out for the landmarks your Travel Director will show you during this afternoon's city tour. The rest of the day is yours to explore Cape Town at leisure. Ramble up Bree Street to sample the city's vibrant coffee culture or take a stroll along the Sea Point promenade with the fellow outdoor enthusiasts.

CAPE PENINSULA TOUR | OCT 15

Circumnavigate the Cape Peninsula, from trendy Camps Bay to Cape Point and back. The crashing waves of the Atlantic to your right, the rocky 12 Apostles to your left, wind your way along one of the world's most magnificent coastal roads towards the outcrop that is Africa's most extreme south-western tip. Say a quiet hello to the shy penguins of Boulders Beach, see the Cape of Good Hope and travel through charming coastal towns along the way.

CAPE WINELANDS EXCURSION & CAPE TOWN FREE TIME | OCT 16

Venture to the town of Franschhoek and see during your orientation why it is proclaimed as one of the most beautiful wine valleys in the world. In the nearby Stellenbosch Kloof Valley, you'll 'Connect with Locals' over a Be My Guest traditional Cape lunch. Gain insights into the wine heritage of the De Waal family, who have been making wine in this valley since the early 18th century. Join a family member for wine tasting, then explore their beautiful 1791 Cape Dutch Manor House. Return to Cape Town for an evening at leisure.

KARONGWE PRIVATE RESERVE SAFARI GAME DRIVES | OCT 18

The action begins as we embark on an early morning game drive through Karongwe Private Reserve with a Local Specialist game ranger and Shangaan tracker-guide. The rising sun awakens the birds and insects that share your journey into the bush, as you scour the dense brush for signs of the Big 5. After lunch, and time for a siesta and a swim, return to the bush for an afternoon safari drive.

KARONGWE PRIVATE RESERVE SAFARI GAME DRIVES | OCT 19

Today enjoy another full day of game drives through Karongwe Private Reserve. Continue to scour the dense brush with your Local Specialist for incredible encounters with Africa's iconic wildlife. End the day with a traditional sundowner drink overlooking the Game Reserve, keeping your eyes peeled for signs of wildlife that emerge from their cover of darkness.

Our time in the South African bushveld comes to a close with a 'Dive Into Culture' visit to a local Shangaan village. Learn about the traditions and customs of the Shangaan people and how the Eco Academy there provides eco and wildlife education. Fly to Johannesburg and check into one of Trafalgar's 'Stays with Stories' located in the restaurant and entertainment hub of Melrose Arch.

JOHANNESBURG SIGHTSEEING | OCT 21

Unlock the secrets of the 'city of gold' on a full-day tour to view several iconic sites including the Regina Mundi Church and Mandela's house in Soweto. 'Dive into Culture' during a visit to the Hector Pieterson Museum and the Apartheid Museum, which chronicles South Africa's tumultuous Apartheid years.

Payment Terms

Pricing is subject to change without notice. Reserve soon to secure the rate. All payments made to Stars N Skyes Travel are non-refundable, non-transferable. We have contractual obligations that we must fulfill and are therefore unable to provide any refunds. It is your responsibility to have open lines of communication with your roommate to be certain that all parties are making payments on time. All changes, if possible, will incur a $50 change fee per occurrence by Stars N Skyes Travel, in addition to additional fees that may be imposed by the tour operator. All changes must be emailed to groups@starsnskyes.com. It is your responsibility to make sure that we receive your final payment in our office on time, within our normal business hours of 10:00 am - 6:00 pm EST. The acceptance of late payments is at the discretion of the tour operator and will be charged a $100 fee by Stars N Skyes Travel. All late payments must be approved by a representative of Stars N Skyes Travel. It is your responsibility to communicate with your roommate and Stars N Skyes Travel if you are faced with a financial hardship. The sooner you relay this information, the better chances we have of making alternative arrangements.

STARS N SKYES Travel (“SNS”) acts as a sales agent for any airline, hotel, car-rental, tour operator, cruise line, or other service provider. SNS is not responsible for acts or omissions of the Suppliers or their failure to provide services or adhere to their own schedules. For this trip, SNS acts as a sales agent for the vacation wholesalers. SNS assumes no responsibility for and shall not be liable for any refund, personal injury, property damage, or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be caused by: (1) any defaults, wrongful or negligent acts, or omissions of the Suppliers; (2) any defect in or failure of any vehicle, craft, equipment, or instrumentality owned, operated, or otherwise used or provided by the Suppliers; or (3) any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions on the part of any other party not under SNS’s control. You hereby release SNS from all claims arising out of any problem covered in this paragraph. It takes time to perform the professional services required to plan and arrange your travel. Our work is based on personal experience and professional expertise. I research cruises, hotels, and tours to meet your specific needs. I also contact suppliers, coordinate transportation, and draft itineraries. Be advised that Stars N Skyes Travel charges a cancellation fee in the amount of $50 per person in the event that you cancel your booking.

Travel Protection Insurance Details

For your protection, we strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation and travel accident insurance. However, no representation or description of the insurance made by our staff constitutes a binding assurance or promise about the insurance. By not receiving Travel Protection Insurance You understand that you are solely responsible for any cancellation penalties and out-of-pocket expenses incurred. You will also make your own separate travel, medical and any other provisions in the event of an emergency while you are traveling. You also understand that you are not protected from loss in the event of any travel vendor, travel supplier or any travel-related operator default. All payments made are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
