The 2017 Membership Open House & Expo hosted by the toronto triathlon club

It was a busy but exciting week for the club last week. We had over 121 in attendance at our Membership Expo & Open House on Thursday evening at Whistler's Grille. It also provided a chance for the club's coaches to offer Q&A's to potential new triathletes.

Club President, David Noseworthy, discusses the Toronto Triathlon Club with a group of tri-curious newcomers to the sport.

Tara Postnikoff, founder of HEAL, Healthy Eating & Active Living, provides personal training through coaching and nutrition services. Tara helps host events and camps for the Toronto Triathlon Club including our camp in Tucson, Arizona and Collingwood. She also never leaves home without her kale.

Tara Postnikoff explains the importance of healthy nutrition in triathlon and athletics.

Michael Liberzon, founder of X3 Training, and the X3 crew came out to promote their strength and conditioning programs, personal training, and group fitness classes, such as indoor bike training and kettle bell training. X3 also provides STAC Virtual Wind Tunnel testing to help maximize an athletes aerodynamic profile on the bike. For more information visit www.x3training.com and www.staczero.com

STAC Virtual Wind Tunnel testing scans an athletes pose for the most aerodynamic position on the bike.
The X3 gang goes larger every year.

Coaches Nigel R Gray and Dr. Sylvie Dansereau from NRG Performance Training provide professional coaching services for triathletes across Canada. They also host training camps throughout the year in Florida, Italy, and Mont Tremblant.

The Runner's Academy is a refuge for helping injured runners get back on their feet. Their team of chiropractors, physiotherapists, acupuncturists, naturopaths, massage therapists, and personal trainers offer a one stop shop for therapy and training needs.

Dr. Kris Sheppard, Co-owner and Chiropractor, came out to demonstrate how his team can help runners move better and run faster.

The Toronto Triathlon Club offers club apparel thanks to their partnership with Champion System. Champion System is a leader in custom triathlon and cycling gear, providing a wide range of apparel choices at various quality and price points. This partnership allows the club to provide competitive pricing and maximum flexibility for ordering quantities.

Club member, Amy Lam, goes over the club apparel offered through Champion System.
