HERFF JONES ORDER DISTRIBUTION

If you ordered graduation supplies from Herff Jones, your student should pick up their order in the Main Office. Please note that cap & gowns will NOT BE DISTRIBUTED until June 13. You may still place an order with Herff Jones at https://www.herffjones.com/schools/highschool/46001458000/

GRADUATION DAY TIMELINE - JUNE 14

  • 5:45 pm: Seniors arrive at Angel of the Winds Arena, 2000 Hewitt Ave, Everett
  • 6:00 pm: Class photo
  • 6:15 pm: Graduation Rehearsal
  • 7:30 pm: Doors open to guests
  • 8:00 pm: Graduation ceremony

Seniors Receiving College Scholarships - Please Report

Seniors, please notify the Kamiak Career & College Readiness Center of your Scholarship Awards. Please use the link on the Kamiak CCRC webpage to report your scholarships. The DEADLINE for submission is no later than 11:59 pm on Wednesday, May 22.

This information will be used to recognize seniors at the "Senior Recognition Night Program" on Wednesday, June 5th. Please do not report scholarship awards for colleges that you will not be attending. Questions? Get Free Books! Kamiak seniors that register for 15 credits and have a current GPA of 2.5 or higher qualify. https://www.edcc.edu/freebooks. Students should contact the Kamiak CCRC staff with questions.

SCHOOLS FOUNDATION IS OFFERING SCHOLARSHIPS

The Mukilteo Schools Foundation is offering scholarships to graduating seniors from Mukilteo schools who will be enrolled in post-secondary education next year. The application forms are available at each high school and on the Foundation’s website at www.mukilteoschoolsfoundation.org. To complete the application, students should be prepared to write briy flabout their commitment to goals and tasks, their commitment to community service, their experience with diversity, any leadership and group collaboration, and their adaptability to change. The foundation is particularly interested in offering scholarships to students who may not be getting others, so be sure to apply. The scholarship applications are due on Friday, April 26.

F.U.N. COMMITTEE SCHOLARSHIP

The Mukilteo School District F.U.N. Committee is pleased to announce that it will award seven academic scholarships, each in the amount of $1,200 to one graduating senior at ACES, one at Sno-Isle, two each at Kamiak and Mariner, and one to a MSD student whose parent or guardian currently work in the school district. Students who apply should have been granted, or will be granted, admission to a post-high-school educational program. Please encourage students to apply. Scholarship applications are due by Friday, April 19, and are available in the Career Center of each school, on the district website, and here: Scholarship Application.

GRAD KNIGHT 2019

It’s not too late to sign up for Grad Knight 2019!

ONLY 50 TICKETS LEFT - DON'T MISS OUT!

Get your Grad Knight ticket while they last! Ticket sales during both lunches April 3 and April 15 in the Kamiak Commons. Pick up registration forms in the Kamiak Main Office or download from the Kamiak Senior Information webpage (link below). Return your registration forms and payment to the Grad Knight parent in the Commons or to the Kamiak Main Office anytime.

After the graduation ceremony, students will board buses with their friends and head off on an exciting adventure for the night and return safely to the Kamiak parking lot between 5:30-6:00 am the next morning. They will not need any personal items or money because everything is included for this night.

  • Cost $215 – Price includes transportation, meals, drinks, music, games, prizes, photos, entertainment and all kinds of fun! (This is not a profit-earning event; prices are based on the costs ensuing from the hosting organization.)
  • All registration forms and payments are due no later than April 15.
  • Financial assistance is available! Students should see their counselor.
