“Coach Ellis was a great mentor for me, He was one of the coaches that knows how to push you to become great and he really enjoys what he does for young men, helping them get to the level they want to get to. One of the most important lessons he taught me was that nobody is going to give you anything, You have to work hard for anything you want in life, and relationships go a long way.”

Coach [Steve] Ellis, my defensive backs coach, has helped me out a lot. I spend a lot of time in the film room with Coach Ellis. Together we would decipher the offenses that we would go up against. The more film I watch, the more I know about their tendencies, and I could break on the ball faster. -Charvarius Ward
