Easter building works

Over the Easter holidays a ramp is being built to replace steps in the KS2 playground and will provide an easy means for parents to get on to site with pushchairs. This is in preparation for new fencing to be installed this summer, replacing the timber fencing in the KS1 playground and fencing off the KS2 playground. The open nature of the KS2 playground in particular is a hazard as it is next to the car park and balls frequently roll down the slope. Whilst we're keen to not make the school fencing too high, the current timber fencing in KS1 is low enough for adults to step over! The new fencing will make a huge difference to the safety of the pupils and to site security during the school day.

School Lunch Booking

After the Easter Holidays our school lunch provider is changing to Dolce.

You should have received an activation email from 'Live Kitchen' giving details of how to set up your child's lunch account. If you have not received the email, please check your junk/spam folder first. If you still haven't received it, please contact Live Kitchen by email: support@live-kitchen.co.uk or telephone: 01506 300310. They will be able to help you.

The menus are now available for next terms lunch bookings. You can book daily, weekly, monthly and termly. Orders must be made by 8.55am to be included in the days lunch service.

Children will only be able to have school lunches booked through the 'Live Kitchen' website.

Please ensure you have set up your account before the start of next term if you wish your child to have a school dinner.

Please can we remind parents with any outstanding dinner money payments on Parentpay, that all balances must be cleared by Thursday 4th April. If you are unsure if you have any debt, please see the school office.

Any credit balances you have in dinner money on ParentPay will not be transferred to Live Kitchen, they will need to be refunded. If you have a balance, please speak to the school office to arrange a refund.

T-Trak Club at Trainwest Model Railway Show

Thanks to our effort at the Calne show, the T-Trak Club layout has been invited to the “Trainwest” show in Corsham on Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th April. More details about the show are available at http://trainwest.org.uk. There will be a free heritage bus service to the show from Chippenham railway station so hopefully pupils and parents will be interested in coming to see what T-Trak have been creating.

Easter Challenge

We have filled a jar in each classroom with chocolate eggs for the children - In return we are challenging them to fill their class jar with any loose change / small coins they can save and collect over the Easter holidays. The challenge runs until Friday 26th April.

You will hopefully have noticed the new sign and notice board outside the front of the school. This will be managed by FOMPS and the school office to inform parents and advertise events connected to the school. Thank you to the Tenth Hole Tea Room for contributing funds towards this purchase.

The FOMPS meeting minutes from 29th March have been sent out to those on our mailing list. Please see the website or contact FOMPSPTA@gmail.com for further information.

On behalf of FOMPS, I would like to thank you all for another successful and enjoyable term and wish you a relaxing Easter break.
