Eva Caron ambulant counsellor, coach, and caretaker

Muses

At JapanTKY, we are not only inspired by the latest fashion trends and city trips. We also take inspiration from the people who wear our clothes. Ultimately, we design our clothes for them. Therefore, we would like you to meet some of our muses.

Eva Caron is the mother of an 18-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son. After 20 years of working as a communications advisor for the province of Gelderland, she completely changed track a few years ago.

"During a burn-out, I realised that for the second half of my working life, I wanted to do something that would enable me to use my talents, my experience in life and give me energy. As a communication advisor for a government agency, I was mainly dealing with rational matters on a daily basis, while I am actually very intuitive. I am strong in making connections and connecting people and have always been very interested in what drives people.

I started taking various training courses in the field of coaching and personal development. I am still involved in communication, but now it's about personal communication in consciousness-raising processes.

I want to be meaningful to vulnerable people in particular and guide them to (re)find their inner strength and self-esteem. At the moment I am doing this as an ambulant counsellor at Professionals in NAH. I guide people with non-congenital brain injury through various aspects of their lives, such as with returning to work and/or returning to their home environment.”

“Follow your own flow of life”

When we ask Eva who her greatest source of inspiration is, she resolutely answers, "The authentic natural women around me who have the courage to be themselves! I've had a couple of very intense years, a change of heart and making a dramatic change to your life are not just simple matters. In those moments, it's nice to know you're supported. That's why I gave a party last year for all the women who have been important in my life during that period.”

"Some women have difficulties with getting older. I have to admit that it can be quite confrontational at times, but I do like the fact that I start feeling at home with myself more and more. In some ways, life becomes even more fun. Certain insecurities disappear, you compete less and connect more and that gives you so much more peace.”

Eva relaxes in the countryside, walking, running or on a mountain bike, or at home on the couch watching a film or TV show. "I also love exploring cities. Looking for that one nice coffee place or that special vintage shop. I am not a shopaholic, but I do like to be inspired. Very frequently this inspiration again comes from the authentic natural women around me who have their own dress style.”

"Clothing is a kind of thermometer for me, it helps me to express the way I feel. My style is consciously nonchalant and casual chic; I love to wear a beautiful blouse and blazer from JapanTKY on my favorite jeans for example.”
