Fall 2019 Edition

Fall colours surround us as we walk through the forests and mountains, taking in the fresh scents & scenes of nature all around. Snow is starting to fall on the hills, enticing us to take one more walk along the ridges before winter comes.

The special Leader Recognition Award from our Lifetime Member Mr. Chris Carter will be announced at the Potluck. Chris Carter has donated a special gift to be given out at the CDMC Annual Potluck event to recognize leaders who organize trips outside of the Comox Valley and Strathcona Park area. As per Chris Carter's request, the CDMC Board of Directors uses an anonymous survey method to determine the winner of the annual award.

Love the CDMC Crest? Want one to sew on your backpack or favorite hiking shirt?

Crests will be available to purchase at the CDMC Potluck event for $5.00 each.
