Masters Of Hummingbird Photography Workshop Private One-On-One Instruction With Scott Bourne

If you want portfolio-quality hummingbird photos, this is your chance. Master, avian-photographer, Scott Bourne will spend one day (two shooting sessions plus one consultation session) putting you into position to make portfolio-quality hummingbird photographs, guaranteed.*

You'll work one-on-one with Scott, learning at your own pace. The two shooting sessions will give you ample time to capture photos of hummingbirds against a variety of backdrops. You'll even have chances to shoot hummingbird photos with native plants in the scene.

The night before your two shooting sessions, over dinner, Scott will explain the process, provide an orientation, learn more about your goals, give you tips for success and answer any other photography or business questions you may have. The next morning, you'll walk outside your cabin to find a personalized shooting setup, designed just for you by Scott. Flashes, bird feeders, backgrounds and all the grip necessary to make hummingbird photographs (quickly and easily) will be done for you. All you have to do is sit down and shoot.

The price is $750 per day - $700 if you sign up before Feb 15, 2019. (You can purchase as many days as you like, provided they are available.) This is expensive because it is a private session. You can choose to divide the cost with a friend and share your time with Scott, at no additional cost, or if you prefer, you can bring a spouse, also for no additional charge.

F.A.Q.

1. Q. Is this really a private workshop?

A. Yes it is - unless you choose to bring someone along with you.

2. Q. Is this workshop open to beginners?

A. Yes, but you are expected to know how to fully operate your camera, measure exposure, change lenses, etc.

3. Q. How can you guarantee hummingbirds will be there.

A. Years of experience have taught me where to find hummingbirds and when. If there are no hummingbirds present during your workshop you will receive a full refund - but that has never happened.

4. Q. Are there any exceptions at all to your non-refundable deposit policy?

A. None whatsoever - it is recommended that you buy trip insurance so that any legitimate problem that impedes you from attending the workshop will be covered by a third party.

5. Q. Is there anywhere else to book lodging in the area?

A. Yes but there are VERY FEW rooms available anywhere close by and the most convenient spot as well as the best spot for the money is the Santa Rita Lodge.

6. Q. Are there restaurants nearby?

A. No - the hotel has a few snacks for sale in the gift shop but you should either buy your own food at the Safeway in Green Valley (closest real town to the canyon) or plan on a 15-20 minute drive to nearby restaurants.

7. Q. Are your workshops and the grounds at Santa Rita Lodge smoking or non-smoking?

A. The workshop and the area are all non-smoking. Smokers will not enjoy this tour.

8. Q. Will you be shooting alongside me?

A. No - this workshop is about you getting your shots, not me getting mine. I am here to help you.

9. Q. What camera do you shoot with?

A. I shoot with Olympus.

10. Q. Will your flash setup work with my camera?

A. Yes - this system will work with any modern camera.

11. Q. At the end of the workshop, will you subject me to a high-pressure sales pitch asking me to sign up for future workshops or to promote you on social media?

A. Absolutely not. There will be no sales pitch of any kind and you will not be asked to promote anything or anyone on social media.
