Epilepsy a neurological disorder marked by sudden recurrent episodes of sensory disturbance, loss of consciousness, or convulsions, associated with abnormal electrical activity in the brain.

Adam was dianosed with epilepsy at age 8 after multiple seizures one night. He was rushed to the ER and was later diganosed.

In order to dignose him he was given an electroencephalogram (EEG), but some doctors also use magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in order to see the brain.

He was given Medication to control his seizures. As Adam was extreamly stuborn he choose not to take his Sedative and Anticonvulsant medications. He died at age 24 due to a seizure in his sleep.

People diagnosed with this disease can live full and happy lives as long as they follow all medications given by their doctors.
