Coast to Country Growth Plan:

  • Acquire more followers through liking & commenting on accounts with similar content and same brand identities; spending an equal amount of time with this activity as with posting, to grow a loyal following.
  • Follow more newport accounts, following their followers, Use the follow/ unfollow technique: follow a batch of accounts daily, once you gain followers from that batch unfollow those that did not follow back.
  • Maintain more followers than accounts we are following.
  • Follow 80/20 rule: 80% of content is helpful style tips, how to purchase, whats new post 20% focused on specifically promoting the business
  • Create new content for use over the summer, scheduling various shoots around newport that vary from nautical, downtown newport, and countryside/vineyard themed.
  • More daily in-shop/"behind the scenes" posts creating a sense of employee/in store culture.
  • All photos taken on my Canon DSLR for consistency and high quality images
  • End of summer goal: Match/Exceed Anchored in Pink's following

Anchored in Pink Social:

  • Maintain already established following by posting daily/ being as active as possible on Instagram
  • Create "events" on Facebook & inviting girls to "attend" and "like" pages. This has worked for Lulu with spreading the word when they had pop up shops during off season. A nice way to link the store to women in the community
  • Have fun in store events - photobooth lily backdrop? mimosa mornings? post post post it all. Creating a fun/party like atmosphere in the store
  • Create new content for use over the summer, scheduling various shoots around newport that vary from nautical, downtown newport, and countryside/vineyard themed.
  • More daily in-shop/"behind the scenes" posts creating a sense of employee/in store culture.
  • All photos taken on my Canon DSLR for consistency and high quality images
  • End of summer goal: At least 2,000+ followers, double the amount of likes currently per post, diversify -- new faces in the posts, create a more fluid "theme" matching in store photo quality closer to stock footage photography high quality images provided by lily
