I'm proud of you for taking the initiative to get a head start on planning your wedding. GOOD JOB! Feels good being pro-active, right? Of course it does!

Take a look at everything I've put together for you below. Including some special offers from some vendor friends of mine :)

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! I know we've all heard the saying, but it applies to more than just your favorite retailer. Your venue is going to be the home of your wedding day, and we always take care of home FIRST, right? You want to look for a place fast because venues can be booked up to one year out.

Your wedding HOME should be somewhere that fits YOU. Something beautiful that matches the narrative of you and yours' special day. Finding a location that will hold your ceremony, reception, and "getting ready" locations are big pluses as well. This helps the flow of your day become a seamless process.

**Keep in mind that summer seasons, and weekends will tend to be more expensive due to high demand.

Often over looked; wedding planners can make your entire experience seamless and fun. Just think, your wedding can be magically organized without you barely having to lift a finger! Crazy right? Well, it's possible. The planner's responsibility is to not only organize and construct your day to the vision you tell, but to also completely take the brunt end of the stress that could possibly be produced from such a grandiose event. The planner's creative mind can take your vision and make it more beautiful than you could have imagined.

Still no plans for a planner? A day of coordinator can make a difference as well. This will completely take the stress off of you, your maid of honor, mother, or whoever else you would hold responsible for wedding day correspondence. Again, removing the stress from your shoulders makes a WORLD of difference for the experience and enjoyment of your day!

This is one of, if not the most important aspects of your wedding day. Just think, you've found the perfect dress, the perfect venue, decorations of your dreams, all of your family and friends are in attendance, but it's just not complete. You miss it ALL because you didn't hire a photographer that will, true indeed, beautifully document your day.

Your wedding day photography is the only aspect of your day that will last after the final song. The only aspect of your day that you will regret your Uncle Bob and Cousin Tabitha were the only people there with their small mobile phones. The ONLY aspect of your day that will allow you to share you and your fiancé's story with your kid's kids after the big kiss.

Make sure you're time conscious as well. Your dream photographer just might be booked out up to two years in advance; contact them as soon as you can! We at Heavenly Love Studios can surely help you take care of this void in your planning process. Fill out our CONTACT FORM today so we can set up your meeting. I look forward to talking with you!

So many times I've had conversations with bride after bride; saying they wish things could have been easier done. Don't make things harder than they have to be.

Make sure all of your bridesmaids/groomsmen are on the same page. Whether it's what dress to wear, what watch to buy, what hair style to have, make it something simple for your trusted team to acquire. If it's something that you decide to give free reign it might just be a good idea to make an executive decision and choose for them. After all, it is YOUR wedding.

If you're of the engaged brood that is planning a wedding in a different state make sure you have a trusted planner, friend, or family member that can help handle all of the miniature details of planning a wedding. Paying/scoping out your venue, being your correspondence for the cake, or whatever else it may be can all play a huge part in their help.

Don't let finances get in the way of your dreams as well. A lot of times your venues and vendor will work with you on payment plans to help ease the stress of acquiring your dream service business. Closed mouths don't get fed. The worst they can say is no, and you just make it work as best you can.

Stress is almost BOUND to come into play. Even with a planner and a strong support system; some things can and even will go wrong. But, that doesn't mean it won't work out for your wedding. Maybe your flowers didn't get ordered in time, maybe your cake designer mixed up order dates. No excuse for them, but things happen. It will all work out in the end. More times than not the party responsible will do what they can to make amends, and you will STILL get married :)

If you're having a short engagement (under 10 months) then you could possibly be in for a slightly hectic time line. No big deals here though. A couple of ways to fight stress in this situation is to corral a team of friends to help with an and every detail of the wedding. Delegate planning needs to different people so everything can almost be done at once. Also, use Pinterest when trying to decide on themes and ideas for the wedding.

If you're Mr. or Mrs. popular then you may also have a lot of people coming (or wanting to come) to your wedding as well. This is great, a beautiful thing, but not necessarily for your pockets. When the tab for food comes around, feeding 300 people can get a little pricy. A good way to bypass these issues, and pesky invite hoarders, you can make your actual ceremony an open invite, and the reception RSVP only.
