INTRODUCING GAMBIMI WELCOME TO MY CITY

GAMBIMI will be representing BIRMINGHAM on the inaugural WELCOME TO MY CITY tour.

Inspired by artists such as Chris Brown and Ne-yo, R’n’B singer/songwriter Gambimi has taken the popular genre and put his own twist on things through clever wordplay and beautifully balanced harmonies.Spacey Blak who co-wrote on the EP, also leads exclusively on production and delivers a completely unique sound. Gracing features from Kojey Radical and Slocal’s ItsNate who both bring thrilling touches on Peace of Mind and Cupid Shot Me respectfully.

Originating from Brazzaville, Congo, Hardy Celeste Gabriel-Gambimi aka Gambimi was destined to make music. Hailing from a musical background, Gambimi moved to Birmingham at a young age. After originally struggling to adapt to life in the United Kingdom, Gambimi found a release through music.

Fast forward to 2016 and you may very well have heard Gambimi’s music being featured regularly on BBC Radio 1Xtra by DJs such as Charlie Sloth, MistaJam and Ace after being supported heavily by BBC Introducing West Midlands. Gambimi’s music has also been played on Huw Stephens Radio 1 show.
