#1 The Current Count

Currently, there are 1,098,848 worldwide reported cases, with 58,871 resulting in death. In the United States, there are 277,491 reported cases, with 7,144 resulting in death. In Nevada, there have been 1,279 confirmed cases, with 32 deaths.

#2 In the United States

Due to a lack of medical masks for medical professionals, the CDC is ordering that all citizens make cloth face masks. Numerous articles and videos have been created to teach people how to wear masks, with things as simple as hair ties and bandannas. The CDC is also recommending that is in public, such as at grocery stores, should wear masks to keep themselves safe.

#3 In Nevada

To force citizens to continue to follow social distancing, Governor Steve Sisolak has issued a stay-at-home order and has involved the National Guard. The order is to pressure all families to stay home and keep distanced. The National Guard was called to help distribute resources and supply delivery.

#4 In Other News

Due to a need for health care workers, Canadians are now regularly crossing the border to work in health care sectors. Experts have detected that Detroit could be the next hot spot for COVID-19, so healthcare workers from both Canada and the United States are working to keep them safe.

#5 If You're Bored

Since the CDC is recommending that all Americans wear cloth masks, there are plenty of tutorials on how to make one. By making your own for you and your family, we can continue to minimize the spread of COVID-19, even when we have to go outside.
