LUKAS DREXLER-BRUCE NAMED NEWMAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

In a 2-0 week for MIT, goalie Lukas Drexler-Bruce totaled 26 saves, a 61.9 save percentage, and a 7.51 goals against average. Last Wednesday, he collected 16 saves, including two in the first overtime period and three in double overtime, in helping the Engineers defeat UMass Dartmouth, 8-7 in 2OT. Drexler-Bruce then made 10 saves in an 11-9 road win at the University of New England on Saturday.
