This week in Kindergarten...

Monday we will learn about Martin Luther King, JR and about serving others. We will work with Mr. Long's 3rd grade class to make a craft and write thank you letters to community members who serve others.

We will learn about the -an rhyme chunk.

We will read nonfiction and fiction stories about SNOW!

In math we will review shapes, teen numbers and work on problem solving.

In writing we continue to work on hearing beginning and ending sounds in each word, writing sight words correctly, using spaces and adding more details to our stories.

**Please be sure to check your learners book back and folder each night! Your learner brings home a lot of papers each day and it's important you see them in case they need returned to school!
