Winter’s claws are closing in, the rain, falling, and the nights getting darker. But fear not, help is at hand. Atis and Lila, the talented amazing yogis who run the café at 238, are creating an amazing Christmas buffet, a veritable resplendent feast of plant-based food, transformed with love, passion and talent into a delectable feast. Magicked with true passion, this plant-based feast will stoke the inner fires to create a radiant light to keep our spirits burning brightly until springtime.

Christmas, at the heart of it all, is about coming together. It’s a time to share, to celebrate life, to chase away the seasonal blues and delight in the company of friends. Our special evening is the perfect ticket. And, for those who feel the urge, there’ll be music and dancing, too.

Our Christmas Buffet

A Christmas buffet that draws on dishes from around the world, an international flavour, fitting for this time of year, a reflection and celebration of the wonderful rich diversity of ethnic cultures that is Easton. And, fear not, there will be both sweet and savoury dishes. After all, dessert is essential; without it, it just wouldn’t be Christmas.

if you have any pressing questions, email: cafe@space238.co.uk. Alternatively, feel free to drop by the cafe and chat to Atis or Lila, particularly if you have any specific dietry requirements. Atis is in charge of the menu. She has a highly detailed knowledge of the ingredients in each dish and is extremely attentive to the risks faced by people with nut and gluten allergies, amongst other issues. With that in mind, she pays very careful attention to the each and every recipe, it's preparation, and storage, too.

Important information about the buffet

  • Nuts – some recipes include nuts, nuts used in the kitchen prep area. This menu is not suitable for people with nut allergies
  • Gluten – our food is mainly gluten free but there is gluten in the kitchen. This menu is not suitable for celiac. The menu includes range of recipes that should be okay for people who are gluten intolerant.
  • Ingredients and allergies: please ask if you are not sure
  • Vegan – the recipes are predominantly plant-based and animal-free (the chefs are vegans)
