Anne Franks Biography

Exploring The Setting

Living with 6 others , Anne Frank and her friend and family lived in the secret annex for 2 years . They hid from the nazis because they were out to kill them . Anne shared a room with 2 people because of how small the Annex was . Anne, her sister , and her mother were found after the 2 years . Otto , the father returns to the annex finding out they have perished .

The Amsterdam Canals

One of the biggest attractions to Amsterdam are the canals . There are over 100 kilometers of canals in the Capital City and over 90 islands.

Nuremberg Laws

These laws were called the Nuremberg Laws .These Laws Were set specifically for the discrimination, segregation, and the Elimination of jews . 

1:Marriage between Jews and subjects of the state of German or related blood are forbidden. Marriages nevertheless concluded are invalid, even if concluded abroad to circumvent the law. Annulment proceedings can be initiated only by the State Prosecutor.2:Extramarital intercourse between Jews and subjects of the state of German or related blood is forbidden.3:Jews may not employ in their household female subjects of the state of German or related blood who are under 45 years old.4:Jews are forbidden to fly the Reich or National flag or to display the Reich colors. They are, on the other hand, permitted to display the Jewish colors. The exercise of this right is protected by the State.5:Any person who violates the prohibition under I will be punished by a prison sentence with hard labor. A male who violates the prohibition under I will be punished with a prison sentence with or without hard labor. Any person violating the provisions under III or IV will be punished with a prison sentence of up to one year and a fine, or with one or the other of these penalties. The Reich Minister of the Interior, in coordination with the Deputy of the Führer and the Reich Minister of Justice, will issue the Legal and Administrative regulations required to implement and complete the Law. The Law takes effect on the day following promulgations except for III, which goes into force on January 1, 1936. Nuremberg, September 15, 1935 at the Reich Party Congress of Freedom.


Propaganda is a way to get people to believe and inforce biast information. Propaganda can be used to brainwash people as well. There are many ways to spread propaganda, People spread information using social media causing others to join the specific cause through the internet . There is also advertisements using live television, music,and posters spreading the propaganda. The last way to spread is through speeches . People hearing this can spread it to one another causing them to join the propaganda. This are the ways how propaganda is used to persuade and brainwash biast information .


Anne Frank

Born on June 12th 1929, Anne Frank was born in Frankfurt , Germany . She was the daughter of Otto and Edith Frank. She is also the sister of Margot Frank. She attained a diary as a gift for her 13h birthday . When in the Annex she fell in love with a boy that was 3 and a half years older than him . His name was Peter Van Pels who was also in the annex with her .She was Arrested and transferred to a concentration camp and died of illness between February and March in 1945

Peter Van Pels

On November 8th, 1926, Peter van Pels was born into the world in Osnubrück , Germany . He was the son of Hermann van Pels and Auguste van Pels . During their hiding he started having feelings for Anne Frank .Peter was also arrested and was put in 2 concentration camps . He got evacuated from the first camp Auschwitz , he was later killed in the second camp called Mauthausen on May 10th, 1945 .

Margot Frank

Born on February 16, 1926 , she entered this world at Frankfurt am Main, Germany. She was one of the people that were stuck in th Annex . She was a smart school girl that had amazing grades . Margot and Anne fought often in the Annex becuase of their differences . She died of illness with her sister when she was transferred to a concentration camp .

Otto Frank

Born may 12, 1889, Otto was born in Frankfurt, Germany .He was the father of Margot and Anne Frank , also the wife of Edith frank. He was a Lieutenant in the army . In 1933 he sets up his own business and it became successful.He was arrested and transferred to Auschwitz. The camp is liberated and he is gets his way back to Amsterdam finding out his whole family is dead . In 1945 he publishes his daughters diary . On August 19, 1980, Otto does In Switzerland.
