MAKING ENTREPRENEURS LEADERS THROUGH THE DIFFUSION AND APPLICATION OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
For Inspiration and Recognition of Science of Technology

Every year, Nautius participates in FIRST. FIRST combines the excitement of sports and the rigurousness of science to catch the enthusiasm of students.

THE CHALLENGE

Year by year, during the first weekend of January, each one of the teams receives the challenge along with a game manual that contains the rules. After the Kick-0ff, teams have six weeks to build their robots.

THE REAL CHALLENGE IS CREATING A ROBOT FROM SCRATCH; NO INSTRUCTIONS, IN SUCH A SMALL OF AMOUNT OF TIME!

THE COMPETITION

When the six building weeks finish, the robot is packed and sent to a regional. Nautilus 4010 participates in two regionals: Mexico City and Western Canada Regional.

CHANGING MEXICO

WORKING WITH ONG'S

During the summer, Nautilus worked with the ONG World Vision in the community of Tulpetlac, Mexico State, teaching a course of engineering and leadership. Another institution with which we have worked is CELAMEX.

OUR OBJECTIVE IS FOR EVERY PUBLIC MIDDLE SCHOOL IN MEXICO CITY TO HAVE AND FLL TEAM IN 2020.

ZERO ROBOTICS

ZERO ROBOTICS IS A COMPETITION BASED ON PROGRAMMING SPHERES (MINI SATELLITES) TO ACCOMPLISH A CHALLENGE WHICH CHANGES EVERY YEAR. THIS COMPETITION DEMANDS KNOWLEDGE OF PROGRAMMING, PHYSICS AND MATH, FOR HAVING CORRECT CONTROL OF THE SATELLITE.

Participation in this competition is cost free! In 2017, 1500 teenagers will be given the opportunity to participate in international competitions, while we improve educational level in the STEM areas.

This year, 6 mexican teams took part in a pilot version of this competition.

MIT BEAVER SUMMER WORKSHOP

  • ONLY TEAM OUTSIDE OF THE US INVITED TO COMPETE.
  • COMPETITION IN WHICH AN AUTONOMUS ROBOT IS BUILT IN A 3 DAY SPAN.
  • COMPETITION COST: 5000 USD
