Tuesday Oct 17th , 2017- Arrive at Arusha - Upon arrival into Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be met by the local representative and transferred to your accommodation at Lake Duluti Serena Hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. The lodge overlooks Lake Duluti, which you can walk around and has beautiful gardens for you to stroll in. In the distance you can see the tallest mountain in Africa on a clear day, Mount Kilimanjaro.

Wednesday Oct 18th, 2017- Arusha to Lake Manyara - (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) After breakfast you will be driven to Lake Manyara National Park, one of the Rift Valley's numerous alkaline lakes, which apart from its abundant bird life, is renowned for its large elephant and buffalo population, tree climbing lions and flamingos. You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Standing high on the bluff of a dramatic ochre and terracotta streaked cliff above the flamingo frosted expanse of Lake Manyara's gleaming alkaline waters, Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge commands panoramic views across the volcano-studded floor of the Great Rift Valley. The circular, closely-thatched rooms has a private veranda and breathtaking views of the shimmering reaches of the flamingo frosted Lake.

Thursday 19th Oct , 2017 - Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Your day starts with a drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world. Its enduring charm stems from its overwhelming beauty and the abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Enjoy lunch at your lodge, before heading out on your first tour down into the Ngorongoro Crater.

Ngorongoro Serena Lodge - Hugging the contours of the jagged Crater rim, the lodge takes its inspiration from the so-called Cradle of Mankind', the prehistoric site of Olduvai Gorge, which lies close by. Linked by arched stone passages and timbered decks, its walls are decorated with stylized prehistoric cave paintings and lit by flaring torches. Long and low, the lodge is built from local river stone and camouflaged with indigenous vines. Designed to blend completely into the landscape, it is entirely invisible from the floor of the Crater 600 metres below. Strung around the Crater rim, each room enjoys uninterrupted views over the Crater's unmatched splendor.

Friday Oct 20th, 2017 - Ngorongoro Crater ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) This morning you descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest intact crater, in a 4x4 vehicle. This natural amphitheater is home to a vast concentration of animals and is the best place to see the black rhino. You will enjoy a half day of game viewing in the crater.

Saturday 21st Oct, 2017 - Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) After breakfast, drive to the Serengeti National Park, undoubtedly the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequaled for its natural beauty and the greatest concentration of plains game anywhere. Arrive at your lodge for lunch and thereafter head out on an afternoon game drive before returning for dinner.

Lemala Ewanjan is a deluxe camp with 10 beautiful suite tents set along the western slopes of Makoma Hill within the game-rich Seronera Valley in a secluded part of Central Serengeti. The camp offers breath taking views of the Serengeti plains and its prolific wildlife, sunsets and sunrises. The Seronera Valley is renowned for fantastic year-round game viewing due to abundance of residence cats. Between April and June and November through January the area receives the wildebeest migration, turning the area into an exciting wildlife paradise.

Monday 23rd Oct, 2017 - Arusha and Depart for Zanzibar. (Breakfast,Lunch. Dinner) After breakfast, you will be transferred to the local airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Arusha. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to the Arusha Hotel for lunch, after which, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport in time for your onward departure flight. Soak up the smells of vanilla, cloves, cardamom and a myriad of other spices and exotic fruits. Clove trees were introduced in Zanzibar in 1818 which formed the main trade for the island, becoming known as the 'gold' of Zanzibar. You will see endless rows of coconut palms. Along the route you can visit the Maruhubi Palace, built by Sultan Bargash in 1880 to house his harem.

The island of Zanzibar, a semi -autonomous state of Tanzania, is full of mystery and famous for its spice plantations. An open cultural merge between Africans, Arabs and Indians flourishes in Zanzibar. The capital, Stone Town, has narrow winding streets, vivid markets and colourful bazaars that fascinate every soul. There are still many buildings standing from the days of the great sultans who ruled this island. The exploration of spice plantations producing cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves will no doubt tantalize your senses. The islands beaches are white, sandy and palm fringed.

The Visa fee payable upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport is US$100 for US citizens (cash only). for a single entry visa valid for 3 months. Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from your date of exit from Tanzania and you must have a minimum of 2 blank pages in your passport
