Pier One is a 6 unit waterfront property and pier/dock in the heart of a working waterfront community in Southwest Harbor, Maine, on Mount Desert Island (home to Acadia National Park).
Pier One combines fine living in Southwest Harbor with the beauty of a casual, real working harbor location. Manicured grounds and private sundecks on a sheltered cove offer a unique Maine coastal setting. Come and enjoy the breathtaking views of Southwest Harbor from your beautifully appointed suite complete with kitchens. First built as a boathouse in the 1850's the original shingle style house maintains its 19th century charm and warm and welcoming Down-east Maine appearance. The property has been lovingly transformed over the past century into a beautifully landscaped private vacation compound.
Historically the owners have lived in 'The Main Sul' and rented the remaining 5 units. A new owner could rent all 6 or choose to enjoy the same lifestyle as the current owners.
