Papua New Guinean youth continue to amaze parents and fans, making this country proud as they emerge into champions on large platforms. The best is yet to be seen from these athletes, as much of the country has remained untouched while many future champions are virtually inactive in primary and secondary schools.

2015 Pacific Games

In partnership with the local provincial government and other organizations; ATHLETICS PNG INC will build on the natural abilities and cultural subjection our athletes have experienced. The year 2017 launches the grassroots program; with an engagement of all school-aged students and educators which are the keys to communal long-term development and societal contribution to our sport.

With your support, the proposed series of regional grassroots competitions in the Islands, Momase, and Highlands will mark the first step in the development of students in the province; spearheading toward the 2019 National Grassroots Championship in Port Moresby. Typically, the conclusion of high profile competitions has resulted in discontinuation of training and physical activity. With your help, our student's desire to stay fit will remain at an elevated level maximizing athletic performances.
