To Follow

Following is not DOING.

"to accompany (especially as a disciple), move in the same direction as; follow after, pursue, move behind in the same direction," "obey (a rule or law), conform to, act in accordance with; apply oneself to (a practice, trade, or calling),""full-going,""serve, go with as an attendant" (compare fulfill). Related: Followed; following.

"accept as leader or guide, obey or be subservient to" "come after in time""to keep up with mentally, comprehend" "come or go behind""go straight on”

To follow is not to work hard, it’s not to direct,

• We are to follow Christ. But before we start we must admit a few things; We often view following Christ as working for Christ. and B) We often think of following Christ as “doing God’s will” which is doing for not being with Christ and that is a big topic. Because what does christ want you to do for Him?

• Then there’s our own stuff that we may be bringing to the plate that we’re not aware of: anger, depression, control issues, insecurity— anti-authority issues, there are people who say: “I obey God not man” but that flies in the face of what Christ said:

Matthew 22:20 and he asked them, “Whose image is this? And whose inscription?”21 “Caesar’s,” they replied. Then he said to them, “So give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.” 22 When they heard this, they were amazed. So they left him and went away.

God called people to follow him.

Q: What does following look like?

Q: Are you a human being or a human doing?

Gods plan is for a love relationship between YOU and HIM.
