Roadrunner Student Digital Resources UTSA Academic Innovation

The times they are a changing. For the last few weeks, faculty have been working diligently to transition their courses online by preparing for this change using all the resources available to them. Roadrunner students need access to their own resources too. Don't worry, we've got you covered!

  • To access resources online, be sure to click on the links to access helpful websites and download tools and software.
  • Keep in mind that you will need to have your abc123 and passphrase to access some of these materials.
  • If you don't see something covered or have additional questions, let us know at the bottom of this page!
  • Finally, here's a great way to stay up to date regarding any system wide alerts, outages, or scheduled maintenance.

This resource guide is broken up into three main sections: Student Software and Apps, Blackboard Learn Tools, and Social Support and Remote Resources.

Software and Apps

Students have access to a variety of software and mobile apps to help continue the learning process remotely. They include software such as Office 365 and communication platforms such as Webex. This page will provide you with a brief description of all of the resources available to you and information to help you get started and accessing the materials.

Blackboard Learn Tools

Blackboard Learn is the most common application used for online work and submissions. Some of you are already be familiar with it. There are many features to Blackboard Learn that faculty may use to continue learning online. These include: Assignments, Journals, Tests, and Surveys. This page will provide you with more information regarding Blackboard's main features and available tools.

Social Support and Remote Resources

Staying connected with campus resources and social support is always important, more so during these quickly evolving times. Visit us here for some tips to help with online learning, connecting with support services, and staying in the loop across social media platforms.

UTSA is also currently in the process of establishing emergency funds to connect students to additional resources. For more information, please review this post from UTSA Today.
