We are pleased to announce Hinton will return as an in-person program from October 2022 to May 2023. As a Hinton Tutor you will mentor students during in-person sessions held at TMEC, Harvard Medical School.

Hinton Labs were live streamed during the pandemic from TMEC.
Hinton helps students develop their inquiry, critical-thinking, data analysis, and scientific communication skills.

Looking for passionate scientists & educators to mentor Boston High School students.

Help fulfill Harvard Medical School's Diversity Statement goal for community engagement by advancing the STEM diversity pipeline.

Program Details

  • Serves 100+ AP Biology students from 4 Boston Public High Schools
  • Provides 6 in-depth tutoring & AP Biology lab sessions at TMEC, Harvard Medical School Campus
  • Time commitment - 50 hours > October 2022 - May 2023
  • Open to all Harvard Medical School and Harvard University graduate and post doctoral fellowship students.
  • Unpaid community outreach activity managed by the Office for Diversity, Inclusion and Community Partnership, Harvard Medical School
