EVOLVE 40th Anniversary Ruby Gala Oct. 27, 2017

The Gala

EVOLVE's Ruby Gala at the Nicollet Island Pavilion in Minneapolis was a great success, blending fun and fundraising for an unforgettable night to celebrate our 40th anniversary. The fund-a-need raised $18,000 — far surpassing the goal of $10,000 — and the live auction raised $5,500. Thanks to all who gave and helped make the gala a success!

We were pleased to welcome many dignitaries to our 40th anniversary Ruby Gala on Oct. 27, 2017. While U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar couldn't attend, she sent us this message via video, which we just had to share. Our dignitaries in attendance were: 1st District Congressman Tim Walz (a candidate for governor), Minnesota Rep. Peggy Flanagan (Walz's lieutenant governor candidate), 2nd District Congressman Jason Lewis, 6th District Congressman Tom Emmer, Minnesota Rep. Erin Murphy (also a candidate for governor), and Stillwater Mayor Ted Kozlowski.

We had several fun activities at the gala:

Guests enjoyed live auction and raffle items, games, a dance, signature drinks and more. Our Ruby Gala guests especially enjoyed hamming it up for the camera at the gala photo booth, provided by Nora Events.

We had photos taken at and around our step-and-repeat.
