Hi! My name is Hailey Herrick and I am currently a Senior at Texas Tech University, majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Advertising. I am a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma where I served a year long term on the Chapter Council as the Public Relations Chairman. In between classes and seeking adventure, I am an Athletics Communications intern, a student assistant in the TTU Procurement Services Department, as well as an athletic tutor at the Texas Tech University Marsha Sharp Center for Student Athletes.

Public Relations

The following works are pieces of public relations style writing that I have created through internship opportunities and classes. The first is a press release written and used after concluding Texas Tech's first sports broadcasting camp for high school students. I had the privilege to be a media intern for the camp that was hosted in summer 2016. The next piece was a sample I did for a Sports Media and Production class where a friend and I created our own blog to host content. The pieces following that were written for a semester long partnership project in my Public Relations Writing course. I chose a partnership for the San Antonio Spurs and the San Antonio Humane Society.

Thus far, I have taken a select number of advertising courses that made me fall in love with the creativity and design of the industry.
