Humans for the Homeless Putting an end to homeless pets

Every year, thousands of pets are left with out homes.

What's worse, is that many of these animals that are on the streets are picked up & taken to control centers, where they are then euthanized.

At the Jacksonville Humane Society, we provide the necessary shots, food, & water to help keep animals healthy & thriving. And we never euthanize. We offer free spaying/neutering to help keep our animals from reproducing at rapid rates, which in effect helps to keep even more animals off the streets.

Join Us

In the "No More Homeless Pets" movement.

On the first Saturday of every month, the Humane Society will be holding the No More Homeless Pets Movement. We will break into groups & travel to different areas of town that are populated with stray cats & dogs. We will rescue as many as we can & bring them back to the Humane Society grounds. From there, we will give them proper nutrients & do our best to nurse them back to a healthy state.

Join the movement & us help give every pet a forever home.
