Asparagus the important things

Asparagus is very nutritious. They are part of the dark green vegetable food group. It contains fiber, folate, vitamins A,C,K and E.

Farm-To-Table

Asparagus is commonly grown in California. It is normally harvested from September to October. It is grown from crowns, and planted in trenches.

How to Eat

You should always wash vegetable before eating, and asparagus is no exception. Many people are very opinionated on how to cook asparagus. In my opinion, you should drizzle it in olive oil then bake it.
