John Christie

About John Christie

Now an art teacher at a public high school in Oakland, John grew up in Menlo Park, California, later moving to Colorado Springs Colorado to complete a B. A. in Studio Art from Colorado College. After 6 years in Colorado, John moved back to California in 2014 and began working in the classroom full time. As an art teacher, Mr. Christie is committed to providing a high quality, rigorous, and enriching program to the students of Fremont High School.

While not at work, John spends time his time working as a Search and Rescue Team Member responding to missing person events, often in the mountains. Additionally John enjoys playing basketball, cooking, and of course, drawing.
