Vice President for Research Award for Interdisciplinary Scholarship

This award is given annually to a faculty member or team of faculty on the Norman or Tulsa Campuses in recognition of exceptional achievement in pursuing collaborative research and/or creative activity that resides at the boundaries of, or involves the integration of, traditional disciplines or areas of inquiry. Interdisciplinary research is expected to integrate multiple disciplines/departments and not be held by traditional disciplinary boundaries. As part of a team, interdisciplinary researchers work jointly, not individually, to develop a shared conceptual framework and address integrated research questions.
