April 2019 - A Pub in Bloom!

Welcome to our second Digital newsletter for the Northumerberland Arms, Felton. Since last month's arrival of our new Manager, Trevor Thorne (former manager of Percy Arms Hotel, Chatton) we've fully re-opened our 2 lovely beer gardens by the River Coquet and just started to pick from there our beer garden grown mint, rosemary, thyme and are planning on including wild garlic from the Riverbank for inclusion in our exciting new Spring menu which is coming soon.

Wild garlic - It is a wild relative of onion, native to Europe and Asia, where it grows in moist woodland. Find it from February - June.

Trevor our new manager has been busy with the handing baskets as he is an avid gardener so expect to see "A pub in bloom", we will be increasing our planters and baskets throughout the month all of which get his green fingered touch. If you wish to donate any plants we will happily feature them or why not simply pop in for some gardening tips.
