Every year, on 24 March, the Stop TB Partnership and its partners unite to raise public awareness of the devastating health, social, and economic impacts of TB and call for an end to this epidemic.
World TB Day is a chance for us to urge global leaders to make up for lost time, meet the UN TB commitments by 2022, and finally end TB by 2030.
THE CLOCK IS TICKING!
Around the world, TB kills close to 4,000 people every day, among them 700 children. That means that 3 people die from TB every minute!
If we want to #EndTB by 2030, and save lives, #TheClockIsTicking to reach the #TBTargets2022.

Around the world, 3 people lose their lives to TB every minute. But, with timely action, we can put an end to this preventable and curable disease. Join our social media challenge to let our leaders know that #TheClockIsTicking and they must step up to save lives:

TWEET YOUR LEADERS
Reach key decision-makers directly with your call to action on TB. In just a few clicks, you can access a pre-programed tweet which tags some of the people in your country with the power to make change. Use the drop-down menu to select your country and tweet your leaders!

In this way, you can call on your government to immediately implement a rights-based, gender-sensitive, and people-centered TB response – to close the deadly divide between commitments and reality, as documented by civil society and TB-affected communities in their landmark report.
