NEW ICE, NEW THREADS
The Irish wore special uniforms for the event, highlighted by retro gloves and pants. The combination was a nod to uniform styles from the program's beginnings, which dates back to outdoor games at the current site of Badin Hall and Saint Mary's Lake, and Notre Dame's football team, which traditionally wears gold pants and navy jerseys at home.

FAMILY SKATE & OUTDOOR PRACTICE
On January 4th, the Irish hit the ice for the first time at Notre Dame Stadium for a practice the day prior to puck drop. After the tune-up, the team invited alums, family and friends to share the ice with them.
