The 1st Amendment By: The Kyle schipper

The First Amendment is that Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

A former Connecticut high school girl lost a court case involving a blog post but won a court case involving a t-shirt

It presents a fascination student-speech issue that has not been resolved by the legal system

She lost the first case and won the second case due to her right of free speech.

I believe the court did the right thing for both cases. The blog post shouldn't have been protected but the shirts should've been protected.

I believe that honestly students have to much free speech and that we are too young to be able to have this much responsibility. Kids are immature and that's just a fact.
