GraceTruth Baptist Church
Prior to God’s call to pastoral ministry, he and his wife Robyn owned a Marketing and Business Development firm in Savannah, GA. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Biblical Studies, Master of Theology (Th.M.), Master of Arts in Theological Studies (M.ThS.), a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Theological Studies and is a Ph.D. Candidate in Theology. His post-graduate research centers on the Immutability of God as the core attribute for Theological and Biblical interpretation and application. Further studies in preparation for a Th.D. in Historical Theology emphasize the importance of right doctrine as seen throughout church history as evidence of the boundaries of biblical interpretation. He is thankful for God’s Grace found in his wife and best friend Robyn who shares with James as the parents of FIVE wonderfully amazing children. He is thankful for God’s Grace found in his wife and best friend Robyn who shares with James as the parents of five wonderfully amazing children. His theology centers around the biblical truths reclaimed during the Protestant Reformation and hold to the foundations of God’s sovereignty in all things, especially salvation. Pastor Tippins serves across the US working with young pastors and church planting strategists to equip men for the ministry who are actively preparing for church planting in Georgia, Virginia, Texas and California. He serves as the Dean of Grace School of Theology and Pastor’s Seminary that began Spring of 2015 and as the founding pastor of GraceTruth Baptist Church. James has served on church staff as a worship pastor, children’s pastor, youth pastor, executive pastor and sr. pastor for nearly 20 years. His ministry began in South Georgia in Evans and Chatham Counties then moving to Brunswick GA. Afterward, in 2002, he moved to Virginia to be a part of a church plant as a part of the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia and then to the East Bay/Oakland, San Francisco California where he was Sr. Pastor of First Baptist Church Newark California for over four years. His heart is to encourage and warn all who will hear of the extreme joy that comes through Christ alone and that Jesus is the only means by which a man can find the treasure of the universe who’s name is Jesus Christ and prays that through the planting of new churches many will come to faith and grow deeply in love with Christ. Plans are under way for a School of Theology to be a training ground for Christians and pastors.

Pastor Gordon Jenkins
Gordon Jenkins grew up in a loving and “church-going” family, he was taught the importance of church attendance, Bible reading and prayer throughout his early years. Yet, with all of these blessings, Gordon’s heart remained unchanged until the summer of 1984 when he was challenged to examine his life in the light of God’s Word. The Lord graciously revealed to Gordon, that he had been trusting in his own work rather than the Person and work of Jesus Christ for salvation. It was at this time that God, by His grace, truly and miraculously saved Gordon.
Since 1989, Gordon and his wife Heidi have been attending Sovereign Grace Baptist Church (SGBC). Under the ministry of Pastor Robert Gifford, the Lord has enriched the Jenkins’ love for Christ and His Doctrines of Grace. Gordon and Heidi are blessed with five children and two grandchildren.
The Lord called Gordon into the gospel ministry and he was ordained by Sovereign Grace Baptist Church in 2001. Since that time, he has been serving SGBC as an Associate Pastor through preaching, teaching and counseling from the Word of God. Gordon has a great desire to see the church “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ” through the ministry of God’s Word.
Pastor Tom Smith
Tom Smith was raised in New Jersey and came to Christ as a teenager through the youth ministry at the Presbyterian Church his family attended in 1972. As he studied God’s Word and was taught through the messages of Pastor Al Martin from Trinity Baptist Church, God opened his eyes to understand the Doctrines of Grace and the sovereignty of God in all things. He also was convicted of Baptist principals, and was “rebaptized” and became a member of Trinity Baptist Church in 1975. He then moved to Virginia in 1977 and became a member of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church in Dale City, Virginia. He continued to learn and grow through the ministry of the church and its pastor, Robert Gifford. Over the past 40 years as an active member of the church, Tom has been involved in organizing and teaching Sunday school for children and adults, organizing Vacation Bible School, and as a song leader and choir director. He was recently ordained as an elder of the church in March 2018. He and his wife Margaret have four children and six grandchildren.
Tom currently serves as the East Coast Regional Manager for Firstlove Missions. His gifts are in teaching, counseling and administration.

Pastor Austin Huggins
After some time in the US Navy as a Sonar Technician aboard Submarines, Austin moved to Panama City to be near his ailing mother as she fought a losing battle with lung cancer. Her loss was one of several during a brief period where this young man was faced with his own weaknesses and hopelessness. During this period of great breaking, The Lord Jesus Christ transformed a prideful and perverse drunkard into a humble witness of the cross. Today by God's redeeming grace, Austin labors as a preacher, a missionary, and the pastor of Christ Evangel Christian Fellowship.

Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones
David Martyn Lloyd-Jones (20 December 1899 – 1 March 1981) was a Welsh Protestant minister, preacher and medical doctor who was influential in the Reformed wing of the British evangelical movement in the 20th century. For almost 30 years, he was the minister of Westminster Chapel in London.
Lloyd-Jones was well known for his style of expository preaching, and the Sunday morning and evening meetings at which he officiated drew crowds of several thousand, as did the Friday evening Bible studies, which were, in effect, sermons in the same style. He would take many months, even years, to expound a chapter of the Bible verse by verse. His sermons would often be around fifty minutes to an hour in length, attracting many students from universities and colleges in London. His sermons were also transcribed and printed (virtually verbatim) in the weekly Westminster Record, which was read avidly by those who enjoyed his preaching.

Pastor Fred Sykes
I became a Christian in 1972 through an evangelistic Bible study led by the Navigators at the Ohio State University. The Navigators gave me a love for God’s word and practical tools for living the Christian life. I graduated from Ohio State with bachelors and masters degrees in metallurgical engineering and through Naval ROTC I entered the Navy and worked at the Division of Naval Reactors.
I married Sandy in 1977. We have three wonderful daughters. The oldest is a teacher, the middle daughter is a nurse and the youngest just graduated with a degree in information technology. After I left the Navy we moved to Columbus, Ohio where I worked in contract engineering.
In 1986, following the Lord’s leading we relocated to Dallas, Texas where I entered Dallas Theological Seminary. I finished the Th.M. program in 1990. Both of our families are from New York and we wanted to be closer to them. We moved to Canton, New York in November 1990.

Pastor William Shishko
At the age of 14, I began working in radio in my hometown of Putnam, CT. This was a dream realized for me because I was fascinated with the medium of radio for as long as I could remember. And I still am!
At the age of 19, God powerfully and graciously drew me to Christ after years of wandering in the counter-cultural 1960s. What an unexpected miracle to a most unlikely person! I retain my awe at the “amazing grace” that saved me and keeps me to this day.
During my time in graduate school, the elders of the church of which I was a member during my college years encouraged me to attend seminary with a goal of pastoral ministry. They saw my gifts as I worked with the church young adults. Little would I realize that this would set me on a course that would take me through three years of seminary, a year and a half as an organizing pastor of a church plant in SC, and then to a call to the Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Franklin Square, NY where I have enjoyed 35 years of God’s richest blessings in pastoral ministry. I oversaw and learned from, among many other things, the formation of five daughter churches from the mother congregation in Franklin Square. In addition, I have been privileged to teach and mentor dozens of men preparing for the Christian ministry. Now it is a joy to see God’s blessing on many of these men as they labor in faithful pastoral ministry today.
My great passion is a pastoral ministry and the ongoing biblical reformation of the Church. One of my deepest convictions is that the Church, all local churches, and the bodies to which they are accountable know the greatest blessing of God when they are most conformed to the standards of Word of God. For me, those standards are best expressed in the historic confessions and catechisms of the churches that grew out of the Protestant Reformation. Through “A Visit to the Pastor’s Study” I (together with other pastors) look forward to bringing that faithful pastoral ministry to you…because everyone needs a pastor!
