Adobe Certification Integration Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What exactly is the change that Marketo is making in its certification program? Effective May 25, 2020, Marketo exams will be delivered through PSI and Examity.
  2. Why is Marketo making changes to its certification test delivery? Since Marketo was acquired by Adobe in 2018, we have been working to streamline our operations and present a “One Adobe” approach to our programs. By moving to the Adobe platforms, we will improve our customer experience and bring more valuable resources to the Marketo certification program.
  3. Are the Marketo exams on the PSI and Examity system different? No, the exams are the same—they look the same and are scored the same way as they were previously.
  4. Will the test fees change? The Marketo examination fee will remain the same throughout 2020.
  5. Where can I go to register for a Marketo exam? You can register via the Adobe Credential Management System. Refer to “How to Log In to Adobe Credential Manager” for instructions.
  6. Can Adobe accommodate candidates with special needs? Yes, Adobe does allow accommodations to candidates who are identified as having special needs. If you need additional time to complete your exam or another accommodation, please contact examaccommodations@adobe.com.
  7. What if I already have a Marketo exam scheduled with Kryterion? If you have an exam scheduled to take place before June 30, 2020, then no action is required. If you purchased a Marketo exam voucher, it will be still be valid on the new Adobe testing platforms.
  8. I took my exam through Kryterion and it is not located in my Credential Manager record. Now what? There’s a chance that your exam history is not listed in your Adobe Credential Manager profile because you have multiple accounts. Visit the troubleshooting section of Where are My Exam History and Records? for more information.
  9. If I did not pass my exam at Kryterion before the cutover date, will I still need to wait 14 days before retaking the exam on the new platform? Effective May 25, 2020, Marketo’s exam retake policy will align with Adobe’s. Information is available on the Certification FAQ page.
  10. What will happen to my records and testing history with Kryterion? Your exam and certification history will be available on the Adobe Credential Manager system.
  11. Will I be able to access my Webassessor account on Kryterion? Webassessor accounts and data will remain accessible until June 30, 2020.
  12. Will I be able to use my Webassessor ID to register for exams using Adobe Credential Manager? No, you will not be able to access the Adobe Credential Manager using your Webassessor ID.
  13. How do I get access to the Adobe Credential Management system? For those who already have a Webassessor account, you will receive instructions from the Adobe certification team. If you do not have a Webassessor account, please refer to How to Create an Adobe ID for instructions.
  14. I have taken Marketo Specialization exams. Will Adobe support the recognition of my credentials? The specialization program has been retired. However, you can still access your digital badge through the Marketo Accredible platform.
