Sully: My Search For What Really Matters BY: Chesley B. Sullenberger III and Jeffery Zaslow

Published: 2009

This book is about Sully, the pilot who landed his plane in the Hudson river and saved everyone on the planes life. This is the book that the movie Sully, starring Tom Hanks, is based off of.

Summary

This book tells us about a true modern day American hero. It takes through all the life experiences of Captain Sully Sullenberger. It shows the reader how he had gotten to this point and how prepared he was for the incident. It talks about his military career, and his family life. It all in all gives the reader a more in depth view into the life of Captain Sully.

I like how this book takes a heroic character and makes him seem like just another average person. I like the information the entire book provides. I don't like the fact that it's a pretty slow read. I would recommend this book to anyone though.
