Addition

Adding something to something else, finding the total sum.

Division

Finding how many times something goes into something else.

Equation

A problem that has an equal sign.

Exponent

A small number at the top of another number that tells how many times to multiple it by itself.

Fraction

Part of a whole number, can be changed to a decimal or percentage.

Inequality

An equation without an equal sign where values can be less than, greater than, or equal to.

Integer

A whole number; no fraction, decimal, or percentage.

Multiplication

Like adding the number as may times as the other number. 5+5=5x2

Subtraction

When you take an amount away from another amount.

Variable

An unknown number or amount, the x is the variable.
