The 2017 Great American Cleanup (come rain or shine)

On Saturday, April 29th, the City of Peoria Community Development Department partnered with Keep Peoria Beautiful for the Great American Cleanup.

Citizens across Peoria braved torrential downpours to do their part in keeping Peoria clean, safe, and beautiful.
With the help of PDC,the Community Development Department supplied dumpsters to enhance neighborhood association cleanup efforts during the Great American Cleanup.
Over 13 different neighborhood associations coordinated their own cleanup efforts with help from Keep American Beautiful and the City of Peoria Community Development Department.
Keep Peoria Beautiful collected electronics at the Glen Oak Learning Center.

Code Enforcement Supervisor Ashley Elias, Assistant Director of Community Development Joe Dulin, and Neighborhood Enhancement Coordinators Terence Acquah and Raven Fuller worked with neighborhood associations across Peoria to dispose of litter, debris, tires, and electronics.

Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make the 2017 Great American Cleanup possible. With your help, we can keep Peoria beautiful for years to come.
