THIS WEEK'S FOES

Neumann at McDaniel, 4:00

The Knights (0-0) enter 2018 off an 8-9-1 campaign in 2017. Neumann fell 1-0 to Cabrini in the CSAC semifinals and dropped a 3-1 decision to Alvernia in the first round of the ECAC tournament. The Knights will have to replace its starting goalkeeper and top goal scorer from last season.

• Series Record: Neumann leads, 1-0

• First Meeting: 2007 (NU 2, MCD 1)

• Last Meeting: 2007 (NU 2, MCD 1)

• Streak: Neumann +1

• Last McDaniel Win: N/A

Backstopped

McDaniel will need to replace Nick Over in goal. Over was a four-year starter, earning all-conference honors as a senior in 2017. He posted a 1.37 career goals-against average. Aaron Bilbie saw 92 minutes of action with four saves last season between the pipes.

Making a Run

The Green Terror made a run to the ECAC tournament last season – its first postseason appearance since 2005. The 10 wins marked the first double-digit win season in 13 years for McDaniel.

Head Coach Steve Corrieri, 6th season

Corrieri returns to the sidelines for his sixth season after leading the squad to the postseason in 2017. It was the first bid for the program in 12 seasons. He led McDaniel to a 10-win campaign and the ECAC tournament, notching the Green Terror's first playoff win since 2004.

Steve Corrieri is 33-41-13 in five seasons at McDaniel.
