ACZM Diplomates and the Textbooks they Write ACZM Newsletter 2019 Volume 1

The past 12 months we have seen a flurry of new and exciting textbooks published within the field of zoological medicine. Many of the Editors and Authors are ACZM Dips!

The third edition of the CRC Handbook of Marine Mammal Medicine was recently published. A very recent publication of the third edition of Mader's Reptile and Amphibian Medicine and Surgery has hit the shelves. This edition was co-edited by an ACZM Diplomate, Stephen J Divers and has a long list of ACZM Dips as contributing authors including: James Carpenter, Ryan De Voe, Stephen Divers, Shannon Ferrell, Craig Harms, Tara Harrison, Jill Heatley, Krista Keller, Eric Klaphake, Emi Knafo, Gregory Lewbart, Christoph Mans, Maud Marin, Joerg Mayer, Terry Norton, Javier Nevarez, Olivia Petritz, Geoffrey Pye, Sam Rivera, Rodney Schnellbacher, Juergen Schumacher, Izidora Sladakovic, Kurt Sladky, James Wellehan. This textbook is a must read to get the latest and greatest knowledge in reptile and amphibian medicine.

The newest edition of Fowler's Zoo and Wildlife Animal Medicine Current Therapy is an integral text to the zoo practitioner. This textbook is co-edited by 3 ACZM Diplomates: Eric Miller, Nadine Lamberski, Paul Calle.
