John 5: 19-26

Jesus told the people that the Son can't do anything by himself, he does what the Father does. This is because whatever the Father does, the Son does.
Like his Father raised the dead, the Son may also give life to whomever is deserving.
All judgement is bestowed on the Son, as the Father judges no one. All must honour the Son as they do with the Father.

For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself.
