Facts About The Acts Cartoon & explamation

's

My Cartoon's Policy was the Quartering Act of 1765 and that was King George the 3rd let English soldiers come into colonists homes and made them pay for salaries, supplies and housing. The colonists were very angry! In the cartoon, the French and Indians who didn't like the English partnered with the American's to hook the soldiers hat and reel him into a cage like a fish! He would be taken hostage while Indians and Colonists laugh!

The Quartering Act was where the soldiers could barge into colonists homes and treat them like royalty. The colonists didn't obey. I included a cartoon to show what colonists did to the English. They did not let them into their homes. They didn't tar and feather them like tax collectors, I included that for humor.
