Legalizing Organ Selling Justin Reichardt

Over 80% of people who need an organ need kidney
Although kidneys are far more donated than other organs, the true number still falls short of what is needed
In 2007, a law was passed allowing living individuals to donate their organs, however few do
One organ can save up to eight lives
Despite this, while the number of people waiting for organs has grown, the number of donors has not.
Kidneys donated from living donors have almost twice as long of a life span
This has led to a growing black market of human trafficking for organs
In order to stop this trafficking, organ selling should be legalized
