Merry CHRISTmas! Christmas Update for 2016

Every Nation Campus, University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia

'I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.' Philippians 1:3

With only a few days to go until Christmas, I would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU for sowing so generously into campus ministry. Your prayers and partnership have added so much value to many students lives enabling them to hear and respond to the gospel and in turn changing their lives forever! I hope you have been encouraged through my monthly newsletters and updates of all that God is doing and that you are a major part of it! Without you, this ministry would not be possible.

This month, we celebrated with many of our students who graduated from their degrees. I was privileged to attend their graduations and was proud of the quality and calibre of our students leaders and their vision to continue to take the gospel to the ends of the youth after they graduate. Some of these students will be returning home to their countries because they were funded by various scholarships. Please pray that they will be bold to share the gospel with their friends and families and be established in local churches to continue to grow in their faith.

Romalani Leofo

I first met Romalani, a UQ Commerce scholarship student from Samoa in 2013 when I was heading to a bible study on campus, we saw her sitting by herself in the student cafe. She was a very shy girl with not a lot of self confidence. You could definitely tell she was homesick and had not yet made any friends on campus. She was then invited to join us for the bible study and the rest is history! Although Roma had grown up in a religious environment in Samoa, she had not accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and had felt that she'd been forced into it from a young age, she did not see the value of a relationship with Jesus and just wanted to focus on her studies. Since joining Every Nation Campus, she surrendered her life to Christ, was discipled and taken through biblical foundations and became one of our student leaders reaching out to her friends with the gospel and running a life group. We are so proud of Roma now achieving so much in her studies and her boldness to share the gospel with others! We know that she is returning to Samoa transformed by God ready to serve her community and to share with others about Jesus! Please read this article below by clicking on the link that was written about her journey.

NEXT: Every Nation Regional Oceania Conference

On the 20-22nd of April, Every Nation Ministries will be hosting an Oceania Regional Conference in Auckland, New Zealand and you're invited! This conference is where we can gather in one place at one time for one purpose – to make Jesus famous throughout the nations of Oceania! Our spiritual family throughout Australia, Fiji, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea are making their way to Auckland to celebrate and pursue God’s calling upon us as a movement. Here you will hear about and be encouraged by what God is doing in the Oceania region through Every Nation Campus Ministries, Churches and World Missions. The hurting and lost people of Oceania are pleading for us to go to the next level of anointing, next generation, next city, next church plant, next campus. Don’t miss it - NEXT 2017 . All friends and family of Every Nation Oceania are welcome to attend this exciting and defining time.

  • Please pray for our students who are graduating and moving overseas either back with their families or starting jobs in new cities. Pray for them to be established in churches to grow more in their faith and that they would continue to share with others about Jesus and make disciples.
  • Pray for our students over the holidays to stay connected with God and to not fall away.
  • Pray for the boldness with evangelism as our post grad students who are still studying continue to share their faith on the campus this summer
  • Planning and preparations for next semester
  • Open doors on Griffith and QUT campuses to start campus ministries and life groups.

Thank you so much for partnering with me in ministry! Together we are reaching people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I will be back in Auckland in January and would love to catch up with each one of you to pray together and to share what God has in store for our campus ministry in 2017. Look forward to seeing you and to meeting up!
