In September 2015 Leaders of 193 United Nations member states have adopted the Agenda 2030 summarized in the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which address the challenges of economic development, social inclusion, environmental sustainability, and good governance.
Our April Business- Edition of the CSR Calendar Forum is intended to be the starting point to mainstream the opportunities and the responsibilities the SDGs are bearing for the private sector in Vietnam based on the two localized global initiatives UN Global Compact Network Vietnam (GCNV) and Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) which will support entrepreneurs to start their global journey on the national level.

Based on the long years of partnership VCCI-SDforB and UNIDO are the initiators of this new, open platform for Vietnam's inspired, creative and successful entrepreneurs. We are convinced that this community will now grow and contribute to the SDG through innovation and partnerships.

We are proud to present Mdm. Pham Chi Lan as our keynote speaker who will link the SDGs with the most recent research and findings on Vietnam, the Vision Vietnam 2035 report.
Pham Chi Lan is working as an independent economic researcher. She is a member of the National Council for Sustainable Development and Competitiveness Enhancement. Mdm. Lan had worked at the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and hold various important positions at VCCI.
Her fields of expertise include participating in the formation and improvement of the institutional infrastructure for business and economic development in Vietnam, expanding business links between Vietnam and the outside world, and promoting Vietnam’s international economic integration process. She also participated in wide range of activities in Vietnam and abroad for the development of SMEs, young and women entrepreneurs, education and training, environment protection, gender equality as well as regional and international cooperation in these fields.
Your opinion and experience counts! We will take our all first steps into the Agenda 2030 looking at the 17 SDG from the private sector's perspective. Looking for priorities, challenges, needs and white spots in a highly interactive way.
