A Bit of Logic March 2017

A Note from Leadership

We are about 1 month into the Spring new home selling season and things are heating up quickly. Sales are solid, which translates into busy design center activity for Interior Logic. We anticipate this activity to continue into early Summer, which will eventually fuel increased field activities through the remainder of the year. Knowing that we have a busy Summer and Fall in front of us, please take this time to prepare for this increase in your given area of expertise. Trying to stay ahead of the increase is tricky, but necessary, if we are going to deliver properly for our customers. Thank you, in advance, for all of the efforts in what will be another solid year for our team. - Jason

Shea Trilogy Verde River

Welcome to the Verde River Design Studio located in northeast Scottsdale on Alma School and Dynamite Rd. near Rio Verde. Our beautiful Design Studio was built by Interior Logic and designed by Wendi Cave for Shea Homes Trilogy - the Active Adult division of Shea Homes. Our doors opened in the fall of 2015, presently staffed with seven remarkable teammates. We are located just 8 miles from the Verde River community which allows us easy access to view the end results of our labor with completed design and installations. Being so close to the TVR community has created a supportive team oriented working environment with the Trilogy staff from the Community Representatives to the Production and Construction teams. Our design appointments track through a period of three days. The first day is with our designers in the studio where our Members (Shea lingo for homebuyers) begin to colorize and select options. The second day our members have appointments with the low voltage, landscaping and pool partners. These appointments are in the Model Homes, giving the members a second look at available options present in the models. On the third day, the members will be back in our design studio finalizing options and design. The Verde River community is an estimated six-year project with over 1100 lots surrounding the beautifully redesigned 18-hole golf course. The Verde River Golf and Social Club is near completion this spring and will feature tennis and pickleball courts, health spas, a pool, dining and wine bars, and a panoramic view of the Mazatzal mountain ranges over the Tonto National Forest. It truly is an incredible sight to see. Kudos to our team members Erin Harkey, Scott Marshall, Barbie Shannon, Tina James, Traci Young, Sandy Dollman and Christian Weller; as well as the excellent support crew, we have keeping the engine purring back at Cotton Center. This entire team keeps it all together and has developed another exceptional relationship with our partner and members at Trilogy at Verde River.

Just Say Thanks

Thank you to Rich Pond, Michelle Brendel and Cristy Courtney...

Nathan Pile, a superintendent for Terra West Communities at the Enclave at Borgata recently sent an email to Jason Cook praising some of our team members. Rich Pond, our field superintendent at Borgata, Michelle Brendel at the Design Center for the project and Cristy Courtney, the account manager were all mentioned in his email. If you see any of these people walking the halls or out in the field, give them a pat on their back. It is this type of recognition that we love to see from our builders. It reminds us that it takes an entire team to produce results our builders and our buyers love to see. Good job to these three as well as everyone else behind the scenes who help make things go smooth every day.

Thank you to Monica Everhart...

I want to give Monica Everhart a Huge Thanks! Monica regularly and consistently, no matter the time of day, does whatever it takes to get me the shortages or information that I need. She is someone that I feel I can always count on. Monica is a team player and needs to be recognized for her diligence and hard work! - Jim Cameron

As a reminder, everyone is encouraged to use the thanks@interior-logic.com email address to recognize fellow employees for a job well done.

March is National Nutrition Month

March has been designated as National Nutrition Month by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. A variety of foods is important, because no one food or food group provides all of the nutrients our bodies need to grow and stay healthy. Explore the 5 food groups.

Did you know? Preventable chronic diseases related to poor nutrition and diet in the U.S. cost healthcare consumers an estimated $147 to $210 BILLION per year? That’s enough to buy every man, woman and child in the U.S. a three day pass to Disneyland with $150 left over for spending money. OR, that is enough to give every single resident living in Arizona nearly $30,000.
