One example of the theme of Man's inner Evil are the pig hunts. This caused them to kill an innocent animal. Also, it caused them to believe that there was a beast that existed.
Another example of the theme would be the beast. The boys thought that Simon was the beast so they killed him. The beast caused anger and killing. The boys also treated the beast like a god and gave it sacrifices.
The symbol of the conch represents authority and order. This is important to the story because it brought the boys together at times in the story. It gave them hope.
Another symbol was Piggy's glasses. It represented that society is betrayed by human's needs. This is important to the story because it got the boys to make fire which was used in many ways.
The last symbol I thought was important was fire. Fire represented hope . It was important because fire helped them cook and use for warmth.
