Collegium Video Wins in State Competition

After statewide voting on a national PSA contest entitled Lights, Camera, Save!, two of Collegium’s own won Third Place Overall in Pennsylvania.

The PSA video contest focused on the advantages of saving money, specifically focusing on college-bound students. Congratulations to Mrs. Maalouf’s technology students, Anthony Quarino and Will Newcomb - both seniors - on this tremendous accomplishment. Their video, Every Penny Counts, briefly follows a high school student managing his finances. View the video by accessing the link below.

Anthony and Will are enrolled in a CCS technology class, Toys as Tools, where they learn how to apply technology to real-life and creative applications using equipment such as phones, tablets, to desktops. Congratulations, gentleman, we are so proud of you!

FAFSA Completion Night

Collegium will host a FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid) Completion Night on Tuesday, January 24th at 7:00pm in the 535 Library.

Collegium Employee Spotlight

This week, we feature one of our many student success stories. Danielle joined Collegium during our very first year - all the way back in 1999 - as a newly enrolled kindergarten student. She since graduated from CCS, obtained her degree and teaching certification, and is now a vibrant addition to our faculty/staff. Learn more about Danielle by watching her video below.

This Newsletter section highlights one Collegium employee each week and allows families and students to get to know them even more. Now, when you see featured employees on campus, you'll have a better chance of being able to greet them by name and strike up conversations!

From the CCS Home and School Association (HSA)

Serving in a capacity similar to a Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) or Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO), our HSA owes its success to the efforts of our many parent, teacher, and staff volunteers!

PAWsitive Praise

Welcome back students, teachers, staff, administrators, and families! We hope you enjoyed your Winter Break and are looking forward to an exciting second half of the 2016-2017 school year!
